Contemporary Arts Month. Art, poetry, cinema, sculpture, music, all from many eras, and now of our own time - video art. The 2nd "Contemporary Arts Month", has opened it's doors to all at the Cuevas del Rodeo, Rojales, this month. Come and meet all the artists and artisans of the town during this special time. There are many cultural events throughout the month, including special homage to one of Spain's finest poets, José Ángel Valente, whose works have touched the heart and spirits of many over the years. This special arts month also pays tribute to "artistic works and their expression" in the way that art captures the human experience, from pain to joy and the adventure of the spirit. Art is, and always will be, a force of the future 2nd "Contemporary Arts Month" May 2006 - Programme 26 May - Friday Live Music Concert "Jazz Canvas" and the famous saxophonist José Luis Santacruz. Starting 9.00 - 10.00 pm at cave B-art (The Bar). 27 May - Saturday Open Air Cinema with short video-art films by "Leo" at 9.30 pm, followed by a showing of the live concert in Berlin of "The Wall" by Pink Floyd at 10.00 pm, presented by Amable López Soriano at the "Tetería" (Café Cave).
